Making a purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier.
Just browse our store, add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
Payment can be made by either:
1. Credit card at time of order
2. Credit card where the details are sent seperately. This can be sent via the phone, fax, normal mail or at time of online purchase.
3. Pro Forma invoice. This is where an invoice is sent to you and payment is made before the goods are released
4. By account. This option is only available if an application has been made and agreed by AMV Supplies.
5. For Government, Education and Public Sector customers, an account facility is already avaliable.
If an account has been set up then payment is 30 days from month end.
We accept most forms of credit/debit payment.
We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason.
In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Price Promise
We aim to beat any genuine advertised price.
If you find a cheaper price online then AMV supplies will endevour to match or better the price.
We reserve the right to ask for written proof of a competitors offer before we beat the price.
This can be faxed to us on 01634 296990, E-mailed to sales or the relative URL submitted to us.
Prices cannot be matched if it is part of a special offer, cash-back scheme, ex-display, clearance or refurbished items, typographical errors or 'bundle' pack specific to another comptetitor
The competitor must have the identical product in stock and available immediately to the general public.
The competitors product price must include any charges for next day delivery & VAT.
Should a competitors price be quoted with the sole purpose of challenging the price promise (i.e. is being quoted at an un-commercial rate) then we reserve the right to refuse to beat the price.
Delivery Options
Carriage is Free of Charge on all online orders over £30.00 (excluding VAT)
Orders under £30 (ex VAT) will be subject to a £3.50 carriage charge.
Nation-wide Next business day delivery anywhere in Mainland Britain
Orders Received on Fridays will be delivered Mondays.
All Deliveries will be made the day after any Bank or Public Holidays. Delivery times are between 9am & 5:30 pm.
For next day delivery orders must be placed by 4.45pm (Monday to Thursday) and by 4:30pm on Fridays.
Two Day delivery for the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland and Scottish Highlands are avaliable. Please call for pricing.

All deliveries are made by a courier. Signatures will be required for all deliveries and goods cannot be left on the premises without signature.
In the event of deliveries not arriving by 4.30pm then please contact us where we will be able to source an estimated time of delivery.
Back Orders
We will endevour to source your product from all avaliable sources.
In the unlikely event of your item not being in stock, we will inform you with an estimated delivery date.
You will have the option to back order the item if required.
If you would rather not wait then we can cancel the order for you.
Tax Charges
All orders are inclusive of 17.5% VAT.
Credit Card Security
AMV Supplies Ltd uses Actinic Catalog e-commerce technology for our on-line ordering process.
All customer orders are encrypted, which occurs on the buyer's PC and decryption only occurs on our in-house systems. At no stage are your transaction and payment details decrypted (visible) whilst they travel over the Internet, or whilst they are stored on our website.
The encryption is carried out by Java technology using a 128 bit encryption key. This encryption method is used to protect sensitive information such as your credit card number, credit card type and credit card expiry date.
The following banks have approved their customer's use of Actinic Catalog - Barclays Bank, HSBC, Halifax, Natwest, Lloyds TSB and The Royal Bank of Scotland.

AMV Supplies do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Returns Policy
For all returns, faulty products or short shipped goods then please contact customer services.
Email Us
The customer must inspect the goods upon delivery and report any fault, including missing items within 48 hours of receipt.
Incorrectly ordered products cannot be returned if the box and/or seal has been opened.
Faulty printer cartridges must be returned with a print sample if appropriate to the fault.
All faulty goods will be issued with a collection number. A replacement item will be sent to you for next day delivery and the faulty item will be collected.
Goods returned without authorisation will be refused.
The customer shall pay any carriage costs involved and a 20% restocking fee in a return where the goods supplied are as requested and are not faulty.
Refunds will be made by the same method of payment with any deductions (for non faulty goods) taken.
